The Baby Pool is BACK!!

OK, OK, so we haven't kept up with our blog over the past year, and so one might wonder what the heck we've been up to...one word...FACEBOOK! hahaha. Seriously, parenthood has been a lot of work....but it has also been such an amazing and satisfying experience.

In case you haven't heard, Baby Sy #2 could arrive any day now. And to allow others to share in our excitement as expectant parents, we have brought back the (in)famous Sy Baby Pool!! Some of you will remember happened during the first baby pool. And while history could repeat itself, hopefully there's still time for most of you to participate before the baby decides to make an early entrance into the world!

With out further ado...

Happy as can be...

Here's Alex running around the beach during our  little outing to Bowen Island on Mother's Day weekend.

Alex is back

Hi everyone! Just thought I'd test out the new e-mail to blog feature.

Fun with Alex at the PNE

We took Alex to the PNE yesterday. The weather wasn't all that great, but we had a good time. I got the corn dog I was craving for, and Nicole got her mini-doughnuts and the Deluxe Steam Mop that she's heard so much about. Lugging around 30 lbs of baby and baby gear isn't so bad as long as you take lots of breaks, and you're patient. We had a little fun with Alex during one of these short breaks too. Check out the video!

p.s. Congrats to M&M on the new addition to their family!!

Alexander and Carrots

Continuing a string of firsts, we fed Alex some carrots for the first time today. Dad even came home for lunch from work just so he could witness the big event.
